Our Support Team are a passionate bunch, with each team member wanting to make a difference in the world.

Josh Kidd

Managing Director

Josh is the founding director of Clever Contacts and it all started a little over five years ago when he could see his crystal-clear vision.

He wanted to build a call centre that would ensure charities in Australia would have an ethical and transparent option for their telemarketing supplier.

A generous and charitable man at heart, Josh knew the right staff with similar values to him would make the cornerstone of the type of call centre he wanted to create and an environment he knew would attract great clients and great fundraisers alike.

The team he developed are a passionate bunch, ready, willing and able to make a difference in the world.

Josh also has exceptional technical skills and has developed all the infrastructure of Clever Contacts from the ground up- made for fundraisers by fundraisers.

When Josh isn’t burning the midnight oil behind the computer screen you will find him playing the doting and attentive dad with his young family, Katie, Lilly and Harry.

Alex Lausev

Account Director

Originally hailing from the great state of Texas in the U.S of A, Alex has been an integral part of the growth of Clever Contacts from the early days, having worked on hundreds of different tele-fundraising campaigns. Monique Osborn

Senior Account Manager

Monique’s first working experience was in family law, dealing with clients at a pretty low and stressful point in their lives. Monique learnt a lot about helping people and attention to detail required during that time.
Decided she wanted to do something that helped on a greater scale, Monique moved into fundraising soon after and has never looked back.

Monique loves waking up every day and contributing to making the world a better place. “It’s great to be a part of something bigger and actually making some kind of difference”.
Monique has a massive interest in human rights, and organisations such as Amnesty International. Her motivation stems from having an Eastern European family that was affected by the Second World War and who became refugees as a result. She is also interested in women’s rights, especially with two young daughters – Sophia and Zahra

Monique is a highly organised account manager with her main strengths in writing powerful scripts, injecting passion into campaigns through quality briefing materials as well as the attention to detail to cover all aspects of a campaign from start to finish.

Alyse Laird

Senior Lottery Manager

Alyse grew up in the little NSW coastal town of Yamba. It’s surprising, given she hails from such a relaxed place – Alyse approaches everything with high energy and action.

Alyse brings to Clever Contacts a sales background, based on relationship building and genuine care for a win, win. 
From face to face direct fundraising, to sales support and customer service working in non-profits, her past three years has convinced her that helping charities build sustainable programs will give her the most satisfaction. So Clever Contacts and all the amazing causes we partner with is a great fit to make the most difference.

Alyse has the biggest soft spot for the animal charities, as her Grandmother was a wildlife warrior for native animals and her family always had lots of rescue animals that needed help in the house when she was growing up. 

Alyse is newly married to Anthony and they have a fur baby, a little Jack Russel called Jimmy, who of course is a rescue.

When not talking to charities about developing their tele-fundraising campaigns, you’ll find Alyse enjoying adventure activities like hiking, travelling overseas and riding all-terrain vehicles.

Fun fact – Alyse prefers the activities that any normal person has heart palpitations at the very thought of doing – Sky diving and Bungy jumping.

Gayatri Choudhury

Account Manager

Gayatri originally hails from Malaysia and has been living in Brisbane for close to five years.

Gayatri started her career in the engineering field and has recently worked in charities with two hospital foundations before making the move to Clever contacts as an Account Manager.

Whilst working charity side, Gayatri had the privilege of working on fundraising projects and activities to support healthcare & research initiatives to improve the quality of life of people across the community.

Gayatri, feels her role gives her the opportunity to work with a range of charities that are championing so many important causes – “It’s great to be able to support these charities in a tangible way”.  Hard to pick a favourite, but causes related to healthcare, animal welfare, human rights and education resonate with Gayatri.

When not giving the best Account Management to our charities, you’ll find Gayatri spending time with family and traveling.

Fun fact: Gayatri likes watching true crime shows and documentaries (it’s a lot less creepy than it sounds) and enjoys high adrenaline activities.

Amanda Lawrence

Account Manager

Amanda was born and raised in Brisbane, having lived there her whole life.

Amanda came to Clever Contacts as a returning mum, finding it initially challenging to get back in the workforce due to the long- time at home raising a family. Her background might be in both retail and hospitality management but it was smooth transition to fundraising and account coordination where all the years in customer service and people support and transferable skills came together.

Amanda didn’t have any previous charity experience and now says being able to go home every day knowing that I’ve helped make the world a better place is a great feeling.

Amanda’s favourite causes are those she feels have a direct impact on people’s lives and ultimately change their futures; The Smith Family, RFDS and Mummy’s Wish.

On weekends (when time allows), Amanda likes time in her studio feeding her creative side or to get out and enjoy the fresh air; Sunday drives in the country, bush walks, weekend markets, exploring greater Brisbane with husband Derek and two children, Cody and Ellah.

Fun fact – although overseas travel is something Amanda would really like to do at some stage in life, to date she’s never been out of Australia.

Clever Contacts wants to have a call centre full of happy, mature fundraisers making the best possible calls for our clients. This means having a focused support team is very important. Working in harmony is our Call Centre Manager, Recruitment and training officer and our Call coach, to ensure we always have the best fundraisers with the right training and ongoing coaching needed to keep kicking goals for our clients

Peter Miszti

Call Centre Manager

Peter is Brisbane born and raised, moving to Melbourne as a young adult to spread wings (basically to enjoy the culture and coffee scene). He recently moved back to Brisbane to be close to family.

Peter is new to the world of fundraising but is applying a lot of what he learned from working with some of the biggest companies in Australia through his career to date. His experience has been working for companies like Telstra and Foxtel, has extensive call centre experience in roles ranging from sales to team leading to creating and running a performance coaching team. Peter believes in working closely with structure and process’ to develop strategies to improve performance but also with a focus on quality conversations and customer experience.

Peter is now utilizing the great skills he’d developed to be able to give back to the community and work towards a fulfilling journey. Peter personally donates to environmental causes like Greenpeace, ACF and AYCC. Peter believes if we could move from a competition to a collaborative society in which it is no longer a fixed sum game but one where we can all live in balance and harmony with nature and each other.

When not helping others to peak performance, Peter loves to get outdoors to nature, 4WDing is a newfound passion being up in sunny QLD, whether it is beach or mountain tracks with some camping tacked on. Most other time is spent with family, with an eastern European background (think My Big Fat Greek Wedding), lots of long lunches and laughs, and the occasional drama.

Fun fact:  Peter has recently moved to Mt Nebo with fur baby Xena, and partner Jess, who wants to adopt a goat for her to be a companion.

Paeai Sene

Call Coach

Sene is originally from the beautiful Island of Samoa and grew up on the West side of Sydney, moving to Brisbane ten years ago.

Sene has more than 10 years of experience working in telecommunications.

After dedicating seven years as a fulltime mum, Sene re-entered the workforce at Clever Contacts quickly becoming an exceptional fundraise. In fact 2017 fundraiser of the year. Sene is now the teams call coach extraordinaire, supporting and developing more successful fundraisers

Sene brings the experience of having signed up more than 1,000 regular gifts herself across all of our different charity partners.

When not on the call floor, Sene likes to kick back with partner George and their three children Elizabeth, George Junior and Emmah.

Family time is everything to Sene, knowing that she can help so many great causes through her work also allows her to have the balance to spend quality time with my family so you’ll find Sene on the tongs over the BBQ’s on the weekend and camping whenever she can.

Belinda originally joined Clever Contacts having never worked in any charity organisation before. She always wanted to be the person that can help make a difference to animals and humans in need and thinks that it’ll take the collective in the future to make the change needed.

Belinda has personal motivation for heart and heart related disease as its in her family history. Research Foundations are particular close causes as they both help families now and for future generations.

Belinda feels that to be a great Call Coach Its important to have been an effective fundraiser first before helping others, encouraging and supporting be the best version of themselves. 

Belinda is a mum of three, Sophie-Lee, Travis Jnr and Braith and a husband Travis who is extremely supportive of the work she does. 

Belinda is a born and bred Queenslander.

Our I.T. department is dedicated to providing technology solutions that will contribute to running a successful campaign. Clever Contacts is always creating digital initiative by developing and improving our technology systems.

Paul Gunston

IT Director

Paul grew up in country Queensland, moving to the big smoke of Brisbane in 2016.

Paul started working with Clever Contacts to help develop the awesome technology base of the company. He ensures all of our systems, software and hardware work effectively at all times whilst also being the chief of innovation, continual improvement and new development to keep us ahead of our competition.

Anna Silvester

Data Manager

Anna,  our resident Data Manager was born in Brisbane but grew up in Townsville.

Anna has been around charities and agencies most of her career, working for Pareto before spending 11 years as the Data Manager at the Children’s Hospital Foundation

Anna likes getting into the nitty gritty of the data ensuring continual improvement of the data flow by planning, testing and implementing process change.

Anna is a gentle soul with a genuine care for all, so working with so many wonderful causes and an agency whose voice makes the world a better place, just fits nicely with her doing good in the world.

Anna says it’s hard to pick a favourite cause – “there’s such a lot that needs doing in all areas. Those closest to me have been touched by cancer and spinal cord injury, but universal access to quality education and conservation is also important”.

When not overseeing and managing Clever Contacts campaign and business reporting needs Anna will be doing photography , painting, camping, building things and hanging out with the kids and grandkids.

Anna is slightly addicted to art and science podcasts and doesn’t mind escaping whenever she can to Fraser Island for some hard earned R&R. .

Diane Melloy

Data and reporting Officer

Diane is originally from Cambridge, UK and moved to Brisbane eleven years ago with her husband and three children.

Diane career in data is quite varied, including software development, data analysis and management consulting. For Diane, this is the first foray into the charity space and enjoys feeling the passion at Clever Contacts to do the best we possibly can for our charity partners.

Diane is not entirely foreign to charity having had a wonderfully fulfilling experience in sponsoring a child in the past, where the child, now an adult with his own family, has reconnected via social media, and is very grateful for the support he received.

When not focusing on data integrity and returns, Diane enjoys having a very active family, with three teenage sons there is always something going on – running, mountain biking, cricket, soccer, learning to drive, etc – but manages to squeeze in some time for herself – bush walking, boot camp, cooking, social time with friends.

Fun fact: To balance out the sexes in her household, she recently had a new female addition to the family, a puppy named Koko.

Software Developer

Vidhi is originally from India, and after finishing her Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering moved to Brisbane in 2018 excited for new adventures. Whilst here, Vidhi finished her Master’s in Information Technology to improve her technical skill-sets.

Vidhi is an experienced Web Developer and has eagerly joined the Clever Contacts family to maintain and develop her skills.

Apart from delivering amazing results, Vidhi enjoys listening to music and dancing. Vidhi has entered a few dancing competitions!

Whilst not attempted yet, Vidhi would like to try some thrilling adventures such as paragliding and bungee jumping.

Rohan grew up in Central Queensland, completed a Bachelor of Multimedia  a decade ago and moved into general IT and helpdesk to get greater all round I.T experience.

Rohan moved to Brisbane in 2012 because he wanted to live in the big smoke.

These days Rohan is our all-rounder who skill set helps in a number of areas of our day to day at Clever Contacts . Although his role in our team focuses on I.T trouble shooting and ensuring everything works, Rohan can also assist with Marketing, as he a trained Photographer, Videographer and Graphic designer.

With those years of experience in the I.T industry now, he specializes in hardware, network security, processes documentation and troubleshooting.

For an IT guy, Rohan is  more extraverted than most. He used to host a Radio show, plays the drums and Bass guitar and digs his heavier tunes.

This may be Rohan’s first foray into the world of working with charities, but it’s not much of a stretch for him having been a Scout for 15 years of his youth, as well as a passionate supporter of animal welfare and organisations like RSPCA.

When not in the office trouble shooting everyone’s I.T issues and keeping us up to date with our IT infrastructure needs and security, you’ll find Rohan the family man, soaking up as much time with his wife and daughter having recently become a first time dad.

Vicki Love

Administration Manager

Vicki has always been a Brisbane girl, born and bred and always on the North side…of course

Vicki has been knee deep in the charity sector for the past 20 years, and unlike many in the sector,  spent that whole 20 years with the one organisation.

Over the years Vicki has had to wear many hats, with her main areas of expertise being on the Financial side of the non- profits, all the fun stuff including Budgets and all of the Administration of Fundraising and Marketing Teams.

Vicki loves being on agency side as she now gets to work with many charities that are so important to our communities and that have such an impact on so many lives. Vicki also really enjoys speaking with the wonderful people who are supporting these causes.

Having two children, Taylor and Cooper and a love for animals, it’s animal welfare and humanitarian causes and the work they do that she is personally most passionate about.

Outside of work, you will find Vicki spending quality time with her family, whether that’s planning the next family holiday adventure or turning over the snags at little athletics on a Friday night with hubby Steve .

Fun Facts: Once upon a time Vicki was a very good horse rider and also achieved a black belt first dan in Tae Kwon Do

Jesse Zarb

People & Culture Manager

Jesse is the People and Culture Manager here at Clever Contacts- She’s responsible for developing and driving internal cultural initiatives, promoting an inclusive, happy and mentally fit workplace in line with our very important company values. Jesse is super passionate about achieving positive social change, and works to make a difference. Born and raised a Queenslander, she has just returned from living interstate for 4 years and now enjoys all of the sun and fresh air on the Sunny Coast.

More recently Jesse lived in Sydney, and worked directly for an International Development NFP, managing their International Volunteer Program- she got to raise a lot of money, as well as get her own hands dirty building homes beside families in Asia and The Pacific.

Jesse drives change and engages people from within, leading others and enabling them to meet business objectives while giving back in a meaningful way.
